I all, I bought a mint Department of Fisheries and Oceans 45 Commercial long shaft electric start tiller. They removed the model sticker.
Any idea on year?

So I have done the regular serial number lookup. Serial number is 0D229404. It shows up as a 1993 40hp Jet model. Sold to me though as a 1989. But all those show up as 4cylinders. This is definetly a 2 cylinder. Anybody have any ideas. It runs well regardless. Just bought for a project jet...

I have a 79' Alpha One and 470.
I see that a updated shift interupter is available. This requires a new shift mounting plate and new trim pump.
Does anyone know of any additional info or pictures of the new plate/mounting configuration? I found this kit on www.Sterndrives.com
