I live ib southern Minnesota, and I just bought my first boat. I was just wondering if I'm required to have a boat license to legally drive it, like I have to have a motorcycle license to legally drive a motorcycle.

I just bought this boat the other day, for a pretty good price. This is the boat that was used in the James Bond movie "Live and Let Die". She's got the original 75hp Johnson Sea Horse pushinng her.
But with the age, the foam on the insode has gotten pretty bad and some of the wood is starting...

I'm a first time boat owner. I'm buying a boat that needs a battery and I don't know what to get. Are there special batteries I need to get for a boat? Can I use a car battery? The boat is a 16' Rinker I/O.
