Flipped the upper unit last night and (as predicted) the water pocket cover looked well baked.
Question: My mechanical know-how tells me the previous owner cooked this boat quite well. (see attached image)...

I've separated the upper and lower units and fear that I might have a problem with my lower unit.
Question: Currently, if I spin the vertical drive shaft, the prop shaft does not spin. Should the prop shaft spin if I spin the drive shaft?
