    18 ' SS Question

    Can anyone tell me how to attach the bow frame work to the hull ( just forward of the counsels ) Has anyone drilled out the old rivets and replaced them with pop rivets ? I repalced 1/2 " ply with 5/8 " ply and the fit is not quite the same . Thanks

    Starcraft steering upgrade

    Anyone upgrade their steering on older ( 71 Johnson 100hp ) to a transom mount thru tube adapter ( like T & R OSM 330 ) or do you restorers stick to clevis and support tube system original to my 18 ' 1971 Offshore ( SS ) . Any advantages ( that you know of to switching ) thanx for replys !!!

    T & R front mount steering adapter osm 330

    anyone ever install one of these.....is there any benefit as opposed to steering support tube and clevis method ? I am replacing everything from steering wheel back. I was told the front mount method was best......but the cost is more than twice the support tube route. 100hp Johnson . I wonder...
