    Bayliner steering

    Have an '89 Bayliner Trophy 19 1/2 ft. Is there any adjustment on steering gear to remove play? It has a new cable,well lubed. Need to turn wheel a considerable distance before any response. On this old boat it could just be excessive wear in gears?

    I have an 89 Trophy , would like to do some paint work. E mailed Bayliner and local Bayliner dealer,as to availability of paint. No response from either.
