I have a 1978 evinrude 9.9 outboard motor. model 10824M
I replaced replaced the cd power pack but still no spark. I pulled the flywheel off to look at the charge coil and the sensor assembly. They look okay but can anyone tell me how to test to see if these components are good?
I have to replace the broken reeds on my 1998 sportjet 120xr
the dealer tells me that i cannot buy the reed alone but haveto by the whole reed block assembly complete.
Would anyone know if I could buy the reeds only and if so would you have the part number for me?

I have a 1998 sport jet 120xr. the boat has been running great until today. The engine would not idle and I lost approx. 6 mph top end. I drained the carb bowls , cleaned the fuel filter, and changed the plugs. I took it for another ride but the engine would still not idle and had a slight miss...
