    Volvo penta 290 reverse lock

    Does anyone know if Volvo sells a rebuild kit for this reverse lock or do you have to by everything. Bought a boat and found springs are gone from this mechanism. Any help would be great. Thank you in advance.

    Volvo penta 290 steering head cylinder stuck

    Can not get cylinder out of head cone. Finally got hinge pins out and now can't get this cylinder out. Removed two bolts from this and tried pulling this cylinder out and won't budge. Been spraying for two weeks with penetrating fluid. Help please

    I am trying to remove my penta 290 outdrive I took the bolts out of the pin and have been spraying with a lubricant for days and still can not get pins out. I am reading use a slide hammer puller. is this a reasonable attempt and has anyone found an easier way to do this or any tricks. thank...

    Mercruiser 5.7 engine driveshaft alignment

    1988 alpha 1 gen 1. Rebuilt outdrive and replace bellows along with bearing and shift cable. Can not get drive shaft in now. Used alignment tool and grease is showing splines only touching on the top of tool. What do I do and how. Ant feed back would be great

    alpha one gen 1 outdrive not shifting stuck in forward gear

    Trying this for the first time so here we go. I have an alpha one gen one outdrive that is stuck in forward gear and stays there wether you pull into reverse or forward. just replace water pump and seals. can not find a break down on the shift shaft and cable assembly can anyone help
