    Ok... Since it's simple, hopefully you can answer this for me. Is the sludge normal or no? What can be done to prevent it? and does it mean I have an issue that needs addressing in the engine or with my fuel?

    Ah... So as I'm understanding it, my issue with all that sludge isn't the water pump at all, but rather just unburnt fuel/oil mixing with the gas. Correct? It's never done this before... so is it just something that happens from time to time or is something wrong with my motor that causes this...

    Which gasket/o-ring is it that stops that from happening? I'm already going to be getting all the ones others have mentioned but just for my own knowledge I'd like to know. Number of it on the diagram would be great if you know. Thanks for the reply!

    I understand... And I have the original service manual. The problem was just trying to figure out what I should look at first. Maybe something I should check BEFORE going through the whole process of resynching. Only trying to avoid it as theres a few parts of the instructions I dont understand...

    Thx for confirming that, man. Would you recommend adjusting the idle speed screw then, or checking something else?
