    RPM on a 1970 85hp

    Im looking to upgrade my prop, I need to know what rpm the engine is turning but there is no tach hooked up. Can anyone tell me how to hook up a tach to this motor. It is a 1970 Johnson 85hp with the electric shift.

    Looking for Better Propeller for my 1970 85HP

    I want to upgrade my prop to better top end prop for my 1970 85HP V4 motor. Any suggestions, currently the motor is attached to a 15' Campion Bass Boat it makes about 28mph and I would like to get in the 40mph range. The current prop is a stock aluminum prop.
