    need help connecting oil lines, 97 Merc 135

    I bought a used 1999 Merc 135 hp carburated motor, the oil lines from the remote oil tank were cut when the motor was removed. I know it's a presure system. The tank has two 1/4 inch conections.     shift/throtle cables, have they changed

    Does anyone know if Mercury hase changed the designe of the cables. I just bought a 1999 135 motor and controle box. It did not come with cables. I do have a good set of cables from my inline 6, with the old mercontrol. can I use these cables with the new controle box? Thanks, Jeff

    I'm looking at a 1999 Merc 135hp. The owner says it's in great condition. It comes with oil tank, controles and wire harness....I don't know what a motor like this should cost. any info would be a great help, thanks

    need advice, 1985 Merc 150 hp

    I'm considering buying a 1985 mercury 150 hp. The owner says it's in great running order and has never been rebuilt. Was this a good motor back in it's days? Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about this model and year?, and how much should I expect to pay for a 23 year old motor...

    trim gauge on old merc, can it be done

    I have a 1150 inline 6 mid 70's. I would like to install a trim gauge but can't find a sending unit that will bolt on. Has anyone come up with a way of connecting a new stile gauge (teleflex) to their motor?, any help would be great

    Auto Blend system, I'm looking for one

    correct gas/oil mix...It smokes like a pig!

    I own a 115 hp, inline 6 from mid 1970's, I bought it used and assume the mix to be 50:1. I use good quality oil and the motor runs great, however, it smokes alot, more than any other 2 stroke around, I also own a 65 hp and the smoke level is much less. Is 50:1 right?, I'm thinking of leaning...
