75 Merc 500 50hp, I was trying to adjust those little tunions(barrels) on the side to adjust the linkage...I know one operates the throttle,what does the other operate..did i hurt the timing??? thanks Erik

I replaced the carbs yesterday in my 75 merc 500. Now I have no spark???? The only thing i didn't replace totally were the screws the hold the switch box in...Would this have to be grounded???? any ideas were to start?? Erik
I have a merc 500 1975, I can't get it to start at all. Good spark but I do notice when I prime it,I see gas leaking from one of the carbs. Would this cause the problem???? Also Should the spark plugs be wet if I was trying to get it to go???? I do have gas at the fuel pump.. Please help thanks Erik
