    I think the fresh water is, among other things, also intended for drinking and I may be wrong, but isn't chlorine and bleach toxic? I know it is fine to swim in, but not to be drunk. I think my dad is looking for an all in one solution to keep the water fresh for all purposes.

    You Oh subjectively speaking I'd agree with the aliexpress thing. Nothing but bad experiences with it. But that aside, you say 'if even needed'. Why wouldn't it be needed? Isn't an ozone generator an effective way of keeping water fresh?
