Completed a new water pump service today. All went well, I think?
I just read a thread today about a member and his new to him boat. There was a post/reply about not forgetting to replace the shift rod o ring on a water pump job.
As I was preparing to order parts for my next service from SIM...

A couple of questions related to this service.
Torque values for water pump are not provided in Yamaha factory service manual. Where can they be found?
Manual calls for a few different Locitite sealants and thread lockers...
Preparing to perform service on my motor. Purchased factory manual and will study the sections on these areas.

Connected my Lowrance Elite Ti2 9” to my outboard via an NMEA network.
Note: Motor must be running to see data on FF.
Was able to see:
RPM; temp; hours; volts.
I'd like to see/view engine hours (history) since new, rpms, and water temps/ oil pressure. I'd like to see this engine data on either a
Lowrance Elite Ti2 and/or a Garmin 93SV UHD or on a Yamaha Digital Gauge.
Is this possible?

Yes, it has the small fuel filter under cowling. The external filter (10 micron) is what is recommended by Yamaha. I thought the same thing about the sucking ability, but apparently not an issue. I even checked with a dealer to verify.
