Welp, broke two ribs from slipping on ice. portable garage is purchased and put up. Purchsed a bunch of tools from FB marketplace, sawzall, osc tool, sanders, grinders if it takes power i got one! Still Need a DA but thats later down the road. Demo's gonna be delayed about a month. :(
Stringers are solid at the rear of the boat. The boat will be moving at the beginning of October. Amazon has a sale going on and I plan on buying all the Amazon stuff then. 1708 biaxial 10yrds, CSM 10yrds, woven 3rds. The portable garage is on there too.
It’s almost winter here. Grass will be dead in a couple weeks anyway 😂
I rent as well, HOA was just easier than explaining it all.
I’m just sad it’s delayed finding out if I’m doing stringers or not. At this point I have hope that I won’t be after seeing the unsealed screw holes along the...
Project is on hold. Not only can I not put up a temporary shed, I can’t keep the boat on my property at all.
Edit: moving project to my mother’s property. Unfortunately that’s gonna slow things down a lot
Today I learned it’s called a rub rail 😅😅
None of the tutorials I watched before 15min ago talked about removing a rub rail. At least I stopped after snapping one. 🤞
Thanks for the advice! Gonna go do this now!
Bought the pry bar and snapped the rivet. Not quite sure this trim piece needs to come off to separate the hull from the cap. It does look like the rivets go through both. Really at a loss on how to do this without breaking the rest off.
Update: got some screws, ladder, and trim off the back of the boat. Went to remove the seal and there’s hidden bolts/rivets/screws along it. Not sure what they are yet. Pry bar is next purchase!

I have the instagram account for it. Should be a public profile so you don’t have to follow it to see the pictures.

It’s the style of boat I was told I would never have. I grew up poor af. Had my heart set on a fiber glass bass boat ever since. Even If I end up without a usable boat at the end or I give up. I’m going to learn a **** ton. I already have. Like don’t check a transom on a boat that has it’s...
Alright. Last time im responding to a junk it comment.
I understand and do not care about the value of this boat. I’m not a speed boat junkie, nor do I have anyone to impress and no I don’t plan on going over 30mph.
I understand in other areas this seems incredibly stupid. I’ve spent the last 10...
update!!
Motor is toast and I’m not crazy. Model number is lost to time so no way to rebuild it. Only salvage is the carb(maybe) and the control arm?(shaft between engine and lower unit.
Transom is WAY smaller than I thought. It’s only where the motor is according to him? He also advised me to...
First of all. It’s not about what it’s worth it’s about what I can do with it. Fiberglass boats are few and far between where I live. At least one like this.
Secondly, low retail is 3k. Suggested MSRP is $12,000.
Third I don’t intended to sell it anytime soon. Thanks.
