    To buy, or not to buy?

    Came across a 1982 searay 20ft w/trailer with bad interior and a blown 260hp I/O engine, for $600, anyone know what this would go for fixed up, or if it's even worth my time/money?

    engine dies at high throttle

    Hi, Just took new boat out for the first time today, and am having some problems. engine is 1988 merc 40 outboard. starts up great, and good smooth idle, i can get up to about 1/3 trottle, and it cruises ok, probly 15mph (spedo is broke, just guessing), but while cruising, the engine will change...
