    Hello everyone I have a 74 40 hp johnson ( 40e74s ) if someone could tell me what rpm's I should be pulling at wot I would apreciate it. Right now I'm running 4470,does that sound right? Thanks for the info.

    Hello I have a 1974 40 hp johnson was running poorly replaced coils,points,condenser and now getting no spark? If anyone knows how to check driver coil and stator would be a great help.Also wich one would be most likely to cause no spark? Thanks
