    Engine not starting

    I have a Sea Ray BR SS with a 350 MerCruiser and tried to start it and it will not fire. I poured gas into the throttle body and it fires right up. I am sure it has varnish in the system so where do I start? Take the injectors off and clean them? I will change the filter while checking it out...

    Speedometer registering 15 MPH at top speed

    The speedometer on my 1996 Mercruiser 5.7L with Alpha One drive operates poorly. It does register, but only 15 MPH when I am doing 45 or so. I have looked for a pedo tube but it does not have one. Where is the speed pick-up location? In the outdrive?? Anyone know how to clean it out? Regards, Ed

    Sticks in gear...allmost crashed!!!
