    85-100hp carb switch

    I was told that I could take the carbs off my dead 100hp motor and put them on a 85hp... It would convert the 85 to 100hp.. is this true?

    Tilt and trim question

    I Have a motor I am looking to buy. The guy says it has tilt but does not have trim. It is a 1979 70hp Johnson. On my boat now is a 100hp evinrude with what I thought was tilt and trim. Can anyone explain what tilt and trim does and is it possible to only have a tilt motor and no trim Thanks
