I have a '69 Evinrude Triumph 55hp (55973A) that won't run to save it's life. It started out the spring perfect after a new starter. About the 3rd time out, it started to surge, and now the only way to keep it...

a Lund Shell Lake X-14 Jet Star? That's what the plate on my boat says it is, but I can't find a single website or post that has ever even heard of it. It's a 14 foot, four passenger ski boat with a max o/b of 65hp. It's also a tri hull. I could probably post some pictures if it would help...
