As a kid my boating usually meant hard work ! Being a striker on a shrimp boat , snapper boat , crabbing commercially . Luckily that’s out of my system and now at 61 I get out at least once a month weather permitting. But usually it’s with a group of old farts...

Been working a bit on the trailer and did get it set on the trailer . Pulled it out to get some sun today and a bit of cleanup in the shed .
Feels great to be at this point . Plenty more to do though . I have a guy making me a new aluminum fuel tank . Should be done in about a week .

The way I matched the curved rear cover boards was I made a cardboard template of the original about every foot or so . Then I sanded the curve down at each point to match the template. Then just removed material from each section till I got it close ...
Good idea . I don’t have one ..That gives me a reason find one . Been looking for a used resaw / bandsaw reasonable. No luck so far . Just don’t see spending a pile on something I may need one time .
CPES, 2 layers of thin cloth and west system epoxy and fairing started .
Concrete finish trowel was the weapon of choice . I’ll sand this down then tighten up the edges . Then see what we got.. I have decided to just paint the bow that was originally white ribbed vinyl.
