    92 90 hp mariner outboard carbs

    How many turns open should each screw be open on each carb for fuel? I have each screw open 2 turns now and wondering if this is correct or if they should be closed more. Thanks for the help it is appreciated.

    Spark plug pictures on a 3 cyl 90 hp

    Starting from top cylinder to bottom (left to right) these are the spark plugs I ran at break in approx 3.5 hrs is this normal for top to be more black then bottom?? Thanks for the help

    Break In On 1992 Mariner 90 hp

    On my first 3.5 hours of break in I ran up to 5100 rpms, this is wot with the prop I have. Thruout this time I have kept varying engine speed. My question is am I screwed or should my engine be fine, and should I get a prop to bring me to 5500 now or wait till break in is done? I just replaced...

    92 mariner 90 hp stator

    My stator reads 120 and was told it should be between 200-300. How long will it last? Should I get a new stator or just run it? Also should I go with factory or aftermarket? Thanks for the help.:D

    What pitch do I need?

    I have a 17' Bluefin deep V aluminum fishing boat. I just bought a 1990 90 hp Mariner, but the prop did not come with the motor. I'm trying to figure out what pitch would be best for overall performance, and easiest on the motor. Thanks for the help, as I am new to boats, and trying to learn.
