    1995 Mercury 6hp no reverse.

    Hi All, I have a new to me 6hp. It will allow me to shift into reverse intermittently. It seems part of the linkage hits the pull cord gear but if I spin the prop it will then allow me to shift into reverse. I checked through the service manual but not really sure if anyone has seen anything...
