Hi, I have always used 2 stroke outboards but have recently purchased a 2002 Suzuki 4hp 4 stroke.
My problem is that I have to lay it down in my car to transport it, can this be done safely with no harm to the engine or should I build a bracket to keep it upright?

I would like info on how to change the impellor/water pump on my suzuki DT4 outboard!
I have a parts list complete with diagrams but this does not tell me how to replace any of the parts.
