    mercury 1500 tilt trim question

    Does anyone know the wiring for these? Its a 1973 model. Is green down and blue up? If you put red and green to battery, will it go down??

    73 Mercury 1500 anyone know if this is correct...to run-red and white wires at controls. To start-red, white, yellow wires at controls? Do not want to power up wrong wires, figured I would ask first

    What year is my motor

    Mercury 1500. Inline 6. Cover says 1500, foot says 150 hp. Serial # on crank case is 3630929. Its the only serial number I can find. Anyone know what year it is?
