I use boat on st Lawrence river around Cornwall Ontario to Quebec and sometimes into U.S water’s ,mainly use it for pleasure cruising,it’s going on a 206 Larson senza bow rider.
No boat like this(Larson) in my province to compare it to,but for around the same price 2017's 18 footers with 3L engines are selling fast.
think I might just bite the bullet on this one.

Is the top cleat strong enough to pull a 2 person tube? 1988 3 litre bayliner Capri bow rider.ive towed a wakeboarder from lower transom u bolts. But was wondering if top cleat would be better?
When starting up the boat (3litre gm omc cobra) I'm hearing a whining sound, it's not the belt it's coming from behind the engine,
It seemed to have started when a mounting bolt on the starter broke but I have fixed the broken bolt,and noise is still happening ?
Any ideas on what to look for?
Was out on river yesterday boat worked great,but the last 3 starts sounded different (whining sound)got back to marina and parked it.
Went back today and took a look I found a bolt 7/16 by about 2" I think,under the motor,I believe it broke off from the starter (right side)
Boat still fires up...
