    how do i get a part number?

    i have a 1986 mercury 115 hp L6. how do i get the part number for the stator with out taking it all apart? i'd rather order one then remove and replace at the same time.

    ok the newest issue is i oly have spark in the even number plugs. #'s 1, 3, 5 have nothing but i have great spark in 2, 4, 6. please tel me i'm a dummy and it's something real easy.

    1986 merc 115hp. l6 no power

    i have no power and no high rev. i've replaced all the fuel lines filters fuel and the water jacket gasket, and exhaust gaskets. is it possible that water is "going" through the cylinder gasket into the plug. #1 still seems "wet". i've checked the plug wires and all the coils have spark, however...

    no power over 7mph?

    heres a brief history . i have a 1986 115hp L6. during the first time out this year the boat lost all power. i can't get over 7mph. i have changes all 6 plugs, all the fuel lines to from the tank to the carbs, and the fuel. any ideas?

    is "jumping"out of time possible?

    i have a 1986 merc 115 L6, thats not right! spits and sputters above idle. i've replaced all the fuel lines and filters and noticed water "leaking" out of the #1 spark plug. i bought a new water jacket gasket only to have a tree fall on my truck so pulling the boat out isn't a option at tne...

    water coming out of #1 spark plug?

    HELP!! i have a 1986 115hp merc outboard with water coming out of the top spark plug. the motor idles like a champ but when i give it gas it spits and revs really rough. brand new gas all fuel lines and plugs. any ideas?

    no spark in #2

    help!! i have a 1986 mercury 115 hp in line 6 with no spark in the second cyl. boat ran fine for about a half hour then no power. at idle i pulled each plug wire and found # 2 wasn't "throwing" a spark.
