I have a Mercury 50 hp EF1 4-strokes 2012, recently change out the battery.
I hooked battery leads up to reverse poles.
Some fuses blow up
20 amp 25 and 15
All is replayced ,but when I try to start engine the 15 amp fuse blows again.

I have an tohatsu MFS 18B2 4 stroke 3vg - 2006
I cant get the key to kill the motor. Not even the stop switch on the remote control or on the motor will work . Prevoius owner seems to added a switch on the motor that works as a killer.
But of course I want to use the key switch to kill...
