i have a 1989 wellcraft 170 and the only two gauges that work are the spedo and fuel, i think. i put 10 gallons in it and it reads full and ive had it out 2 times for a couple of hours and it still reads full. it has a 89 85hp force on it, just wondering how long a full tank should last?
i bought a new prop and i installed but when i tighten it, it wont turn at all. im scared to leave it not tight enough, how tight does the prop nut need to be?
i recently bought a boat that has an 89, 85hp force attached but doesnt have tilt trim. It is a little heavy to manually put it up and down once your in the water. Has anyone ever attached something to make it easier to put up and down or have any suggestions besides buying hydraulic tilt trim?

i just bought an 86 reinell 170 with an omc cobra i/o and was wondering what the difference is between omc, mercruiser, volvo? do they still make omc engines. i asked a couple of shops around where i live and they said that they dont even work on them anymore, why is that? is an omc a bad engine?
the lights on my trailer do not come on when my driving lights are on at nights. but when i push on the brake the brake lights work? i dont know what to replace or how to check each connection.
