    1989-1993 90 HP Mercury Wont accelerate

    I have a 1989-1993 mercury 90hp that wont accelerate and bogs past idle.I have cleaned the carbs,rebuilt the fuel pump and checked the ignition system.I did run a compression test and the top cylinder had 109 psi,center had 128, and the bottom had 128 also. Any help would be great!

    Johnson 9.9 Upper Water Grommet

    Hi, I have a 9.9 johnson (J10ELCID) That had the upper powerhead water grommet blow.When I had pulled the powerhead and recovered the old one It looked much shorter than the one my parts dealer had giving me.Im also confused about how it goes back in.Any help would be great . Thanks.

    Johnson Td 20 lower unit

    I have a 1946 johnson td 20 outboard.While atempting to remove the lower unit I busted the heads off 2 of the 4 screws that hold it to the upper unit.What should I do to try to fix this?<br />thanks :confused:
