I have a mercury 400 40 hp outboard.
I need a new switchbox for it. My question is, can I use the switchbox from a Merc 402? There is only a year production difference b/w the two, and the model number diff.
the part # for the 400 switchbox is 332-4172 and the 402 switchbox is 338-4733A2...
