Last week the gasket between powerhead and lower unit had to be replaced (small leak).
Now I went out with the boat, started from the first time and ran nice untill after about 5 min. the overheat alarm went off.
Shut the engine down and waited 5 min, started again and proceeded at +/- 3000 rpm...
I was wondering what the differences are between the 2005 & 2006 model E-Tec ( 90Hp) engines are.
I need to get a new engine and am leaning towards the E-Tec but 2006 models are around 7000$ while 2005 models you can get for about 6500$.
