    pinging noise 86 90hp Evinrude

    Starts up and runs fine, at mid range the engine pings while under load, but runs fine and very strong at WOT, I get about 5300 RPMs.<br />I have looked at all plugs and they all look identical (seems to be firing properly)<br />Any suggestions....

    90 HP EVINRUDE, WIRING HARNESS

    I HAVE AN 1986 90 HP EVINRUDE, WITH A CENTER CONSOLE BOAT. THE ONLY THING I HAVE IS A FUEL GUAGE.     1986 Evinrude 90hp VRO

    My 90 has problems stalling (sounds like it misses at low rpm's) it is tricky manuvering around a tight marina b/c it stalls. The motor, under power mid to WOT runs great, no noise and very strong. I checked the plugs, the coil pacs and for any arcing wires, no good. I also replaced the fuel...
