I bought a pro v 16 tracker last year with a new 20hp Mercury 4 stoke. I am only getting about 4600-4700max RPM and about 8-9 mph...the book says the boat weighs about 1100lbs, I am guessing with gear and guys maybe 2000 lbs max...What prop should be on this engine?
Two questions - First I think is easy...I just bought a new pro v-16 bassrtacker with a 20hp Mercury...is this engine basically the same as the 4 stroke Nissan?
Second - I am having problems with this engine. First it only gets to about 4700 RPM and pushes this boat (pro v-16) about 8.2-8.4...
