I have a 1977 Evinrude 25hp outboard (model 25702s) and while on vacation this week the tell-tale stopped flowing water. I took the lower unit off and the impeller is still good, resealed it and put it back together and still no flow from the tell-tale. I get a decent amount of water spraying...
Looking at the store here, they don't seem to have driveshafts for anything under 85HP. I need a new driveshaft for my 1977 25HP Evinrude, model 25702S. Needs to be short shaft, longshaft is way too long on my boat. Have a full longshaft conversion kit if someone wants to trade.

the circled plug is leaking gear oil from it's center. This appears to lead to the bushing that supports the bottom of the drive shaft and the pinion gear. Can these be replaced? Can it just be sealed with RTV?
