I have a mariner 60hp 2 cylinder 2 stroke motor which is quite noisy.
The engine cowl is factory insulated.Has anyone tried adding extra insulation or fitting a better type insulation to the cowl.
Someone may have tried fitting a material inside or outside of cowl.
I have over the years cleaned may alloy metals using hydrochloric acid and was just wondering if it could be used in flushing the internals of an outboard.I ask this as the motor is 20 years old and probably has quite a build up inside.
Has anyone ever used it for an outboard..??
