I use a x70a depth finder now and lowrance does not repair them anymore,so i purchased a x15ci for a backup and it does not mark as well as the x70a.My question is,have any of you gone from using a x70a to another lowrance product and been satisfied with the detail? Also which model did you get...
During the summer months when it gets hot i guess the gas tank builds pressure and pushes gas out the vent is there a solution to this problem other than not filling it up coming back home from the lake?
Just wanting to know if any of you have used any of the do it yourself spray in liners and which one do you recomend?I know it can be sprayed by rhino or line x at 3to4 times the cost but i was thinking about the inside of my boat also. So tell me which one of the kits looks and holds up best.
I have noticed on the bottom of my boat some little white powder spots that is rough that i assume is corrosion. how do you get rid of this and keep it from coming back? Its the aluminum thats not painted. Thanks for any info.
I have a 21 alum. starcraft with a 150 merc. efi and it runs 4800 rpms at wot. could someone tell me what pitch i need im thinking a 17 pitch, am i right or would it be another pitch. Also does raising the motor on the transom help a little also?
I know there is a method to determine what holes you mount the motor on. (height)of the mounting holes is what im speaking of. I was told if i raised it i would pick up more speed. its a 21 ft alum.starcraft with a 150 merc. efi. thanks for any help.
I have a starcraft that needs the wood in the transom replaced.Has anyone replaced one before? Also do you just remove the motor and end caps along with some screws and slide the wood out, and how thick is it?Thanks for any info.
