    squeals when turning

    I have a 5.0 volvo penta that squeals when i turn the steering wheel, chked steering fluid and it was full. its not a real loud squeal kinda faint but noticable when sitting behind the wheel. Thanks.

    prop ?

    I recently perchased a 20ft crownline with a 5.0 volvo penta. My ? is what size prop would give me more top speed. There are no numbers on the prop i have on it now but it jumps right out the water, it runs about 33 mph at 4300 rpms does this seem right. Any input would be great thanks

    surge brake problems

    Just purchased my first boat two weeks ago, and on my way to the lake i had a blow out, and some how the blown tire came apart and broke the brake line that goes from drum to drum. Where can i find this line it looks to be metal. Thanks

    lower unit compatiblity

    I have a 1998 merc 200 efi, i think the lower unit is bad it is at the repair shop now. My ? is will different years and horse power work on mine. thanks

    lower unit oil

    Pulled plug on lower unit to inspect the oil. The magnet on the end off plug had very little if any shavings on it, but the oil looks gray and kinda milky. is this ok or is there a problem. thanks

    saftey switch

    I just updated mercury controls, and the new controls has a safety switch with a purple wire and a purple with a white stripe not sure where the wires hook to in the wireing harness. any info would be great,this is on a 295 stratos 91 model, thanks
