    strange throttle cable problem

    91 johnson 250,twin setup.starboard throttle cable will jam while running(cant return to neutral)and will tach up in neutral.control moves freely while the motor is off,and will shift easily.Why is this happening only when the motor is running?PLEASE HELP

    Is the displacement the same between the 250 and 300 HP v8 blocks(1991)?I don't have a book,yet,so have no reference material,thanks.

    the only info I have on this 275 rude is the # from the freeze plug 043300,should have a letter should it not?the 0 may be an o.(this info was e-mailed to me)I want to know if anyone can come up with a year on it,thanks.<br /><br />Bill
