    I have a basic 260 HP mercruiser 350 small block with a standard aluminum prop. I am interested in changing to a stainless steel prop. What type prop as far as pitch and diameter should I be looking for. Also, do I need to bottom paint my boat every year from a brackish slip.

    Increasing Horsepower on old Johnson outboard

    I have and old 5 1/2 horsepower Johnson Outboard CD13. I'm looking to increase the horsepower to about 10 or so without boring the heads or changing the rings. Is there anything I can do?

    my nav and anchor light have a 5 amp fuse in fuseholder, whenever I turn switch on for nav light, fuse blows. Should I step up to 10 amp or could there be another problem.
