    White Residue on Lower Unit

    I have a mercruiser inboard that has quite a bit of white residue on the lower unit. I'm assuming that it's water stains or looks like oxidation on the black paint. Anybody have any tips on removing this? I've tried waxes and such, but it seems to just mask the residue and not get rid of it...
