2002 merc 90 4 stroke motor not running shifts fine start motor put in forward and try to come back to neutral and it go's to rev. it's like there's no neutral . looking for some ideas

Johnson 2002.. 115 2stroke 1 carb was leaking fuel (bad needle) and would foul the one plug . so put 4 new float ,needle and seat kits in. float set level .
Now when you run it wide open about 800 - 1000ft out it starts to surge like running out of fuel . Didn't do that be for :(

Hi guys my buddy has a 2001 90hp 2stroke, it would not start and I found that the neutral safety switch was broke so we put one on and it starts right up .
now the buzzer stays on have checked all connectors and all looks good :)
How do I test the oil & temp switch's ????

Hi guys ... I have a merc 90hp 4 stroke , just adj. carbs and was looking at the vac. gauge and rev.it up the two bottom cyc. drop vac about 10lbs and the top two only dropped about 4 -5 lbs
if I'm thinking right the bottom are good and top something is bad :(

i just got my motor running for the first time :)
and found a small water leak on the exhaust side of the power head. It's leaking under the exhust plate and i can't see it
it's eather comming out the gasket betwwen the power head and drive or the Exhaust plate
