    1974, johnson 115 hp won't start

    I have had trouble starting my outboard the last 3 times i took it out. I get it in the water and it won't start. I can get it started out of the water with some effort but in the water, it sounds like it wants to start, then after a few trys, nothing. How can I check to see if all 4 cylinders...

    arrowglass cheetah boats

    I have an arrowglass cheetah boat, its a 1974<br />18' open bow. It has a johnson 115 hp outboard motor on it. the motor is a 1973 or 74. Does anyone know about this boat or the engine? I'm trying to find a manual mainly for the engine. Thanks

    I have a 1973 115 hp. johnson outboard. 2 stroke, 4 cylinder. I need a part for it.<br />I think it called a vacuum plug but not sure. Past the carb. there is the air intake,<br />and on the other side of that is 4 black plastic plugs about 1 1/2" round. 1 is cracked and when I tilt the motor...
