    is there really no voltage regulator/ rectification on my 1990 E30ELES ?

    theres is a stator and a pack under the flywheel & voltage spikes over 24 volts at mid throttle... just doesnt seem healthy for the battery or the pack to see that kind of unregulated spiking....
