I am restoring my aluminum sylvan. The gunwales were carpeted but that has since expired. I was thinking of using spray Bedliner on them rather than carpet. Has anyone done this? Have the results lasted? Any other products I should consider?

Splashed her on Saturday, what a difference. I attached a piic of the old transom and will have to upload pics of the finished product. Now I need to get some fishingin and clear out my garage as the winter will bring new floors and carpet!
