    I just got a 1971 Johnson 50 horse with hydro electric shift, shift works great thank god, but I am not familiar with the warm-up lever operation.     1969 evinrude 33 hp can it be done?

    I have a 69 rude 33 hp. and would like to put a telltale on it. Has anyone done this to give me a little insight as to the best, least intrusive way to do so before I drill and tap at my own discretion? As this seems to be my only option at this point.
