My 03 engine starts quickly after sitting over night. However, after running and then sitting on the lake for a couple of hours, it does not start easily and when it does it smokes a lot for 5 seconds. The smoke is white to grey in color. What it the problem. It did this all last summer.
Does anyone on this forum know the manufacturer of the tilt units used in todays outboard motors, consisting of the motor, pump, and cylinder? The is non specific to the make or brand of motor. I would like to purchace a similar unit for incorporation into a new product.
