I went to the 4 websites listed below to find my model year, but my serial number did not match any.
My serial number from the tag on the transom bracket is;
Mariner 8ML
6G1 L 305973

I need the location of the serial number for my Mariner 8hp. I found a tag on the transom bracket. The top line on the tag read; "Mariner 8ML"
The second line had "6G1 L 305973" .
Is this the serial number? If so, what part ? I could not find a match to it when I tried to find the...
