    Riding lawnmower problem...

    My riding lawn mower will start fine, run for about 100-200 feet & die. I have leave it sit for a while to restart & it will do the same thing. Checked the fuel filter & it's fine. The fuel is somewhat old so I added some stabil to it. Any ideas as to what may be the cause of the problem?

    Question for our Prop Pros...

    I just purchased a Renegade prop for my 1974 115hp Johnson (13 1/4 x 21) & the thrust bearing diameter I have is too big for the prop. Can I just go out & get a different bearing or is this telling me I can't use the prop. I think I was told it is for my motor but I don't remember

    Lower bearing set screw on 1974 115hp Johnson

    While inspecting a gap between the water intake & the screen I noticed the lower bearing set screw position & it looked as though it was out awful far. I have no idea as to how far it is to be screwed in & would like advice as to its proper screw-in depth

    Question for Joe Reeves

    I just purchased & installed an OMC tach for my 1974 115 hp Johnson. It has an 8 pole stator. I set the pulse to 4 & got an idle read of 1200 RPM. Wouldn't that be about twice idle? I have a Johnson service manual but idle RPM is not specified. You expert advice would be greatly appreciated.

    H2O Leak at gearcase/lower unit boltup-1974 Johnson 115 hp

    I just noticed water leaking from the area where the gearcase bolts up to the lower unit. The engine is a 1974 Johnson 115 hp. Scared the crap outta me.....please help!!!!

    I'm curious if anyone knows the capacity of the gas tank on this boat (1974 Crestliner Apollo 16). It is a quite large aluminum tank & I wonder if it is the original tank. Also, any idea of the boats weight?
