    67 evinrude starter

    I need an exploded view of how the pull start is assembled any one have one? It is a 1967 evinrude 6 hp. The rope broke I rewound it however there doesnt seem to be any tension on the rewind spindle, any info would be appreciated on how to reassemble to make it work.

    O.K. I took the carb apart and throughly cleaned it and reassembled as per the manual. The question I have is should the fuel pump diaphram have a small, about 1/16 of an inch hole in the middle of it or is that not good?

    1979 6 HP jonny wont go

    My son and I were useing my 6 hp Johnson today on some pretty good size water. Everything was going fine then all of the sudden it just died. It runs so so with the choke on but when you release the choke it immediatly dies. I cleaned the carb and I am having no better results, any thoughts.

    alright I have my tear down complete accept for one thing, How the heck do you get the fly wheel nut off when I try to get it off the fly wheel spins. I hve tried everything I can think of help me out.
