    OMC 35 hp exhaust (AM35-D)

    In changing out an impeller on a'96 AM35-D which hadn't been done in over 7 yrs. I removed the lower unit and this rubber coated fiber tube fell out. Does anyone know how this fits in the exhaust chamber there are no round casted sections which this would even faintly go into.
